First, a Welcome from WestBred Business Lead Jeff Koscelny

At WestBred wheat, we strive to make every season better than the last — in your fields and in our research. And like you, we know the best way to start is with varieties developed for your growing conditions and with management practices that help maximize your land and seed investments. Our investments in wheat variety research using advanced breeding tools and techniques are paying off. WestBred® varieties are better than ever.

Wheat growers are increasingly utilizing agronomic inputs and, as a leading innovator, we are committed to bringing additional cost-effective integrated management solutions.

We’re partnering with our seed suppliers to provide Optimal Seeding Rate recommendations based on the lot of seed you purchase and your growing conditions. It’s a first for wheat and something we’re proud to offer at no cost to growers. We’re also helping growers optimize their acres with QuickRoots® technology, a powerful seed inoculant that improves nutrient uptake for better root volume and plant growth.

But our efforts to support growers don’t stop with our products. As sponsors of the National Wheat Yield Contest, we believe in celebrating wheat growers’ successes, and most importantly, sharing what made their seasons great — so growers everywhere can make the best management decisions for their operations. And finally, we’ve added more field-based product support, ensuring that you and your seed supplier have answers when you need them.

With stronger genetics and optimized management practices, 2017 is shaping up to be a great year. Thank you for your business and have a safe and prosperous season.
