From a pure yield standpoint this variety has been at the top of the pipeline tests for quite a while. As we move west it’s neck and neck with KELDIN, which has been our best product in that Montana market. You really can’t distinguish them much from a yield standpoint, they’ve both been really good. But we think it is an improvement over KELDIN from a Yellow Stripe Rust standpoint, Wheat Streak Mosaic standpoint, and then the gluten strength and protein.

WB4505 brings together a really nice overall package of winter hardiness, test weight, Wheat Streak tolerance, Yellow Stripe Rust resistance, good end use quality and drought tolerance. That’s a very formidable package as we target these western High Plains environments.
